A shocking case has come to light from Rampur district of Uttar Pradesh, where a 30-year-old businessman was shot dead at his car service centre. Police shared information in this case with the media on Tuesday. According to the police, this murder was carried out by Avdeep Singh, 22-year-old stepson of businessman Navjot Singh. He allegedly committed this murder along with one of his relatives, Rajandeep Singh.
According to the police, businessman Navjot Singh's son Avdeep had returned home from abroad five days before the murder was committed. It is being told that he lived in New Zealand and had returned to India only five days before the incident. Police said that there was a family dispute behind this murder.

attacked in the evening
According to the police, the incident occurred on the evening of October 10 in Milak Khanum area. A car stopped outside Navjot's service center. Two attackers came out of it and opened fire on Navjot and Navjot died due to bullet injuries in this attack. After this Navjot's father lodged a complaint in the local police station. CCTV footage of this incident was also revealed, which is also going viral on social media.
What did the police tell?
Additional Superintendent of Police Anurag Singh said that the police arrested both the accused from Milak Khanum area within 48 hours of the murder. Police have recovered the Alto car, said to be used in the murder, three guns and six cartridges from the accused. Police identified the accused with the help of CCTV footage and other evidence. One of the arrested accused is Navjot's wife's son from his first marriage, Avdeep Singh, while the other is his aunt's son Rajandeep Singh.

Why murder?
Initial police investigation revealed that the reason for the murder was resentment over the marriage of Navjot and his wife Kamal Kaur. Kamal Kaur is 49 years old, while Navjot was 30 years old. Kamal Kaur married Navjot for the second time after the death of her first husband. Avdeep was not happy with his mother's marriage, because Navjot was much younger than him. According to the police, Avdeep had planned the murder of Navjot along with Rajandeep after returning from New Zealand.
Police said that Kamal Kaur has two sons Avdeep Singh and Joganpreet Singh, who live in New Zealand. Both were against their mother's second marriage with Navjot. Police believe that according to the facts revealed in the initial investigation, Navjot was murdered due to this resentment. However, investigation into the matter is ongoing. At the same time, Navjot's father Nishan Singh claimed that Kamal Kaur's sons had opposed this marriage. He has also demanded the safety of his daughter-in-law Kamal Kaur.
