The sequel to one of the favourite comedy films Khosla Ka Ghosla has been postponed again, and fans will now have to wait until March 5, 2027 to see it in theatres.
The part 2 of the film was earlier set for August 28, 2026, around Raksha Bandhan.
The makers shared the new date with a fresh poster, writing, “Deal पक्की! The Khoslas are ready to take possession of cinemas with #KhoslaKaGhosla2, arriving on the big screen on 5th March 2027!”
Directed by Priya Mishra and Prashant Bhagia, the sequel brings back Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, Ranvir Shorey, Parvin Dabas, Tara Sharma and Kiran Juneja.
Ravi Kishan, Divya Khossla, Nishant Verma, Kangan Baruah Nangia and Danish Iqbal join as new faces. It's produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Savita Raj Hiremath and Raaj Hiremath.
The original came out in 2006 and was directed by Dibakar Banerjee.
It followed a middle-class Delhi family trying to get their land back from a crooked property dealer. Over the years it became a cult favourite for its sharp writing and quirky characters, especially Boman Irani’s scheming Khurana.
Back in January, Anupam Kher said he was thrilled to return after 20 years. “KHOSLAS ARE BACK AND HOW: I have been in movies now for four decades. But never have I experienced this crazy anticipation for the sequel of any movie (including International) as in the case of #KhoslaKaGhosla2! I wonder what is it that resonates with the magic of this film! Please share with what you think are the REASONS for this excitement from all age groups! I am genuinely curious!! Jai Mata Di!” he wrote.
