Neha Bora Challenges Police Notice in Delhi High Court: All India Students Association i.e. AISA President Neha Bora has filed a petition in Delhi High Court against the notice of Delhi Police. Delhi Police has given a notice of bond and surety amount of Rs 10,000 to Neha Bora in the name of maintaining peace. Neha High Court has taken stand against this. This step has been taken by Neha Bora at a time when efforts are being seen to continue the protests against CEC. Neha Bora can demand immediate hearing of the case.

Neha Bora has filed a petition against the notice and has demanded its immediate cancellation. According to AISA, Neha Bora's legal team will demand an immediate hearing on this matter from the Chief Justice of Delhi High Court.

Let us tell you that on October 18, Delhi Police had sent a notice to Neha Bora under Section 126/130 and Section 135(3) of the Indian Civil Security Code (BNSS). In this notice dated October 17, 2026, Neha was ordered to appear before the Special Executive Magistrate (SEM), New Delhi, on October 19 at 2 pm. Through the notice, he was demanded to deposit a personal bond of Rs 10,000 and one surety 'to maintain peace during the investigation period'. After taking legal advice, Neha has challenged this in the High Court.

Notice Violation of Articles 19 and 21 of the Constitution: Bora

Neha Bora claims that in this notice issued by the New Delhi District Police, she has been directed to appear before the Special Executive Magistrate on October 19 and pay a personal bond of Rs 10,000 to maintain peace during the investigation.
