Recently, a young man shared his story on social media, which has deeply saddened people. He says that he has been working as an intern at a fintech startup for the past 10 months. Despite working for so long, he has not found a permanent job. He explained that the constant workload has caused him severe mental and physical distress.

Interning for 10 Months

The man said that after completing his studies, he started an internship at a startup. The company promised that if he performed well, he would get a permanent job. However, even after the completion of the term, he did not get the job. Each time his internship was extended, and he was asked to wait. The young man says he has to work 12 to 16 hours daily, sometimes even on Saturdays and Sundays. There’s no set schedule when working from home. Many nights, he had to work until dawn. This affected his sleep, health, and mental peace.

People offered advice on finding a new job

The young man asked people on social media if he should look for another job. Many people supported him, saying that if a company isn’t offering a permanent job despite long hours of hard work, it might be better to try elsewhere.
