Digital Desk, Lucknow. A major accident occurred late last night in Pratapgarh, Uttar Pradesh. An old house suddenly collapsed amid incessant rain. Everyone in the house was sleeping in one room at the time. As soon as the house collapsed, the entire family was buried under the debris. People nearby immediately began helping and informed the police and fire brigade. Everyone was taken out and taken to the hospital, but six people could not be saved. A young man from the family is injured and is undergoing treatment. An atmosphere of grief has descended upon the entire area following this incident.

An old house collapsed amid continuous rain.
According to reports, the house was approximately 100 years old. It had been raining continuously for the past two days. At night, seven members of the family were sleeping in one room. Suddenly, the roof and walls of the house collapsed, burying everyone under the rubble.
Six people died, one youth survived.
Neighbors immediately began rescue operations. Police and fire brigade teams arrived at the scene. Everyone was taken to the hospital, where doctors declared six members of the family dead. A 28-year-old man was injured and is undergoing treatment at the medical college.
CM Yogi expressed grief
Upon learning of the incident, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed his grief. He directed officials to immediately reach the scene and expedite relief efforts. He also called for the best possible treatment for the injured and all possible assistance to the victim’s family.
