New Delhi. A crazy 14 year old student opened fire indiscriminately in his own school. 9 people died in this accident, while 20 people were injured. The condition of six of the injured is said to be serious. Hearing the sound of bullets, hundreds of students saved their lives by jumping from the school windows. In the firing, the accused also died due to bullet injury. This entire incident took place in Kahramanmaraş, the southern province of Türkiye. The police have taken the parents of the accused student into custody and are interrogating them.

Police officials said that the attacker was a class eight student. He came to school with five guns and seven magazines in his school bag. Police investigation has revealed that the accused’s father was a former police officer and the student had reached school with his gun. As soon as he entered the school, the student entered two classrooms one after the other and started firing indiscriminately. Only after this there was chaos in the entire school. During this time, many students jumped from the school windows and ran outside to save their lives. Eyewitnesses present in the school said that within a few minutes several rounds of bullets were fired and panic spread throughout the school campus. Later the attacker also died after being shot. However, investigation is still going on whether the accused student committed suicide by shooting himself or was shot by someone else. As soon as information about the incident was received, Turkish police reached the spot and surrounded the school from all sides. The police personnel immediately called an ambulance and sent all the injured to the hospital. Police reached the spot and surrounded the area and the injured were immediately taken to the hospital. The father of the accused attacker is being detained and interrogated.

Turkish President expressed condolences

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has expressed deep condolences after the school shelling incident. He said that we have unfortunately lost eight of our promising children and a teacher in the tragic attack. Posting on the X platform, he said that all aspects of the incident will be thoroughly investigated. He warned that the attack should not be politicized.
