A bargain of breath is happening in Shivaay Hospital…

Korba :-:Another case related to alleged negligence in the treatment of a patient has come to light in Shivaay Hospital operating in the New Bus Stand, Transport Nagar complex. A video regarding this matter is becoming increasingly viral on social media. In the video, serious questions have been raised by a victim's family regarding the hospital arrangements and the patient not getting ventilator facility on time. What is said in the video has not been independently verified.

According to the allegation made by the family, the family had reached Shivaay Hospital with the patient in critical condition. There he was reportedly informed that ventilators were not available. After this, the family members kept wandering with the patient in other hospitals in search of a ventilator. It is alleged that after about one and a half hours, he again got information about the availability of ventilator in Shivaay Hospital.
From here many questions have arisen in the whole matter.
Questions have also been raised by the family members regarding the role of Swapnil Jha and RMO associated with the hospital management. His question is that if ventilator was not available one and a half hour ago, then how did this facility suddenly become available later? Was any other patient removed from the ventilator during this period? If this happened, who was that patient and under what circumstances was he removed from the ventilator?
The answers to these questions are yet to be clearly revealed by the hospital management.
In the viral video, it has also been alleged by the family that billing is being given priority over service for the treatment of patients in the hospital. However, this allegation has also not been independently confirmed and the hospital management's side is not available in this report.
The biggest question of the case is that if the facility of ventilator was available in the hospital and the condition of the patient was serious, then why could he not get this facility on time? In case of a serious patient, some time difference can also be important. In such a situation, the hospital management should clarify the situation of the entire incident, how many ventilators were available at that time, how many patients were on ventilators and why the ventilator could not be provided to the concerned patient immediately.
This matter is also in the news because the hospital is promoted as a 100-bed hospital. In such a situation, patients and their families naturally expect that in critical situations, necessary life-saving facilities should be available on time.
The question is any possible discrepancy between hospital facilities and claims. If the facility is available then the serious patient should be admitted on time and if it is not available then the situation should be clearly explained to the family so that they can arrange for treatment in another hospital without wasting time.
At present, the allegations made in the viral video are yet to be independently confirmed. If we get the support of Shivaay Hospital management, it will also be published prominently.
The question is not about blaming any hospital, but about providing timely treatment and life-saving facilities to the serious patients. After all, why should the situation in the treatment of the patient become such that the family members have to wander from hospital to hospital?
