Hisar: Under the leadership and guidance of Superintendent of Police, Hisar, Shri Siddhant Jain, IPS, Hisar Police is continuously taking prompt and effective action in the sensitive matter of abandoning a newborn baby in the bushes. In this case, the police have also arrested the girl who had taken abortion medicine.
Regarding the case, Police Station City Hisar had received information on 08 July 2026 that a newborn baby was lying near the bushes in Rishi Nagar area. As soon as the information was received, the police team reached the spot and took the newborn baby into safe custody and provided necessary medical assistance.
Child left after love affair due to fear of public shame
Police investigation revealed that Anil Kumar, resident of village Niyana, district Hisar, and the girl had a love affair for the last several years. After the girl became pregnant, both of them left the newborn baby in the bushes in Rishi Nagar area immediately after birth due to fear of local trouble.
During the investigation, the police also came to know that the girl had taken medicine from a woman for abortion. Taking action, the police arrested the woman who provided medicines, Geeta wife Bhushan, resident of Neelam Cinema, Baroda Road, Sonipat, from Gohana. Police investigation revealed that a clinic was being run by the said woman on Baroda Road, Gohana in the name of Krishna Clinic. The accused woman was produced in the court, from where she was sent to jail in judicial custody.
In this case, the police have now arrested the girl who had taken abortion medicine. The facts related to both the accused and the circumstances of the case are being investigated by the police. Based on whatever facts come to light in the case, further action will be taken as per the law.

Superintendent of Police, Hisar, Shri Siddhant Jain, IPS said that this is a very sensitive matter related to the life of a newborn baby. Hisar Police is investigating the case with full seriousness and sensitivity. Any kind of inhuman treatment of human life or any act that violates the law will not be tolerated.
He said that whoever is found involved in violation of the law in the case, strict legal action will be taken against him as per the rules on the basis of facts and evidence. No accused will be allowed to escape the law.
