'A hero never goes to jail', will Vijay Salgaonkar dodge the law this time too? Must read this review before watching Drishyam The Conclusion

New Delhi: The 'Drishyam' franchise has always made the audience a part of a game where even when the truth is out there, it is not easy to prove it. Vijay Salgaonkar has been defeating the police every time with his intelligence. In such a situation, it was expected from 'Drishyam: The Conclusion' that it would give such an end to the story, which the audience would remember for a long time. The film lives up to the expectations at many places, but becomes a little weak at the end. The story begins six months after the events of the previous film. Vijay and his family are trying to return to a normal life, but the fear of the old case still haunts them.

Just then Rajveer Singh Tomar enters. This police officer played by Jaideep Ahlawat starts looking at the old case with fresh eyes. Some new evidence comes to light and Vijay's family's troubles increase again. After this the film once again turns into a battle of wits between Vijay and the police. With every new twist another twist is added to the story. As always, Vijay tries to turn the circumstances in his favor.

Vijay's character is still the strongest

The biggest strength of the film is Ajay Devgan. The calmness on Vijay's face and the tension hidden in his eyes makes the character effective. He is not a traditional hero, yet the audience connects with his troubles. This has been the specialty of 'Drishyam'.

Jaideep Ahlawat is also settled in his character. His restrained style poses a strong challenge to Vijay. Prakash Raj's part has some light and funny moments, while Shriya Saran makes an impact in the emotional scenes.

Climax is lacking

The film has many good twists and the story keeps the audience engaged most of the time, but the problem comes in the climax. The final confrontation, which is waited for throughout the film, does not have the powerful impact that was expected. Many dialogues seem longer than necessary and at some places the story feels dragging on.

Despite this the film does not disappoint completely. This is an entertaining thriller, in which the old characters and events retain their emotional impact. In the end the question remains whether there could have been a more memorable farewell to the story of Vijay Salgaonkar. The film is good, but the audience expecting a great ending might feel a little missing.
