Lucknow: Samajwadi Party has increased its focus on women amid preparations for the 2027 assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh. Let us tell you, on Wednesday, a program related to women was organized at the state headquarters of the party in Lucknow. SP President Akhilesh Yadav and Mainpuri MP Dimple Yadav participated in it. Many big announcements were made for women and girl students during the program.
In her address, Dimple Yadav explained the new meaning of 'A' in the party's famous 'PDA' formula and said that now 'half the population' has also been included in it. He said that women's respect and their rights will be given a place among the party's priorities.
40 thousand rupees scheme for women
Akhilesh Yadav announced that if Samajwadi Party government is formed in Uttar Pradesh after the 2027 assembly elections, then 'Stree Samman Samriddhi Yojana' will be started. Under this, women will be given financial assistance of Rs 40 thousand every year. It was said by the party that initially this financial assistance will be Rs 40 thousand annually and it will also be increased in the future. SP says that the objective of the scheme is to economically strengthen the women of the state.
12th pass girl students will get laptop
The SP President has made a big promise regarding women as well as girl students. Akhilesh Yadav said that if SP government is formed in the state, laptops will be given to girl students who have passed class 12th. The party says that this step will help in connecting girl students with studies and technology. Along with this, it was said to promote education and economic self-reliance for women and daughters.
Announcement regarding Rani Avantibai Lodhi also
Akhilesh Yadav has also made a big announcement related to the heroic queen Avantibai Lodhi. He said that if the SP government is formed, August 16 will be declared a state public holiday in Uttar Pradesh on the occasion of his birth anniversary. Apart from this, there was also talk of installing the statue of Rani Avantibai Lodhi on the Gomti Riverfront in Lucknow. Through these announcements, the Samajwadi Party has indicated to keep women, daughters and backward classes at the center of its political agenda before the 2027 assembly elections.
