New Delhi: Bollywood’s ‘Mr. Perfectionist’ Aamir Khan is once again going to make a new beginning in his life. At the age of 61, the actor is going to tie the knot with his lady love Gauri Spratt today i.e. on 5th July. Instead of any frills or a grand Bollywood party, Aamir and Gauri have decided to have a simple register marriage at their Mumbai home. After this court marriage under the Special Marriage Act, this couple will become each other’s partners forever. This is Aamir Khan’s third marriage. Aamir first married Reena Dutta in the year 1986. After separating from Reena in 2002, he married Kiran Rao for the second time, with whom he has a son, Azad Rao Khan.

Both ex-wives and three children will attend the wedding

The most unique and beautiful thing about this wedding is that on this special day of Aamir Khan, both his ex-wives, Reena Dutta and Kiran Rao can also attend. Aamir’s new bride Gauri Spratt has a very good and friendly relationship with both Reena and Kiran. They have been seen spending time together on many occasions. Apart from this, Aamir’s three children, Junaid, Ayra and Azad are all set to witness this new journey of their step mother and father. Only 100 to 150 very close guests have been invited to this wedding ceremony. Which includes both their families, childhood friends and some selected faces from the film industry. After the completion of the court marriage formalities during the day, a special lunch has been organized for the guests. The menu of this special lunch has been prepared jointly by Aamir and Gauri themselves.

How did Aamir and Gauri’s love story begin?

Aamir Khan officially accepted his relationship with Gauri Spratt to the world on his 60th birthday last year. Aamir had told that he has known Gauri for the last 25 years, but with time both of them became busy in their respective lives. About one and a half to two years ago, both of them came in contact again through a family channel. Gradually the conversation increased and friendship turned into deep love.

Who is Gauri Spratt?

47 year old Gauri Spratt comes from a highly educated and independent background. His mother is Tamilian and father is of Irish-British origin. His grandfather Philip Spratt was part of India’s freedom struggle. Gauri has obtained a degree in ‘University of Arts and Photography’. She currently lives in Mumbai. Gauri has also been divorced from her first husband and her 6 year old son lives with her.
