Punjab Door To Door Campaign: Senior Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and Punjab in-charge Manish Sisodia on Friday announced the launch of a door to door campaign across the state from September 20, in which 2.68 lakh booth committee members will reach every house and tell about the works of the Bhagwant Mann government. AAP Punjab in-charge said that Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh will personally launch the campaign from Maan Dhuri, while AAP will launch its membership drive in Ludhiana on September 19 and release election campaign pamphlets.
All election promises made in 2022 will be fulfilled
Addressing a press conference along with AAP Punjab chief Aman Arora and Punjab acting chief Amansher Singh Sherry Kalsi, AAP Punjab in-charge Manish Sisodia said, “The Bhagwant Mann government has completed its four-and-a-half-year tenure and fulfilled all the election promises made in 2022. From September 20, 2,68,553 booth committee members will go door-to-door across Punjab and discuss the government’s work and Will convey the achievements to the people.”
AAP Punjab in-charge said, “There are 25,332 booths in Punjab and this campaign will be run through booth committees across the state. Our booth leaders and party workers will go door-to-door to tell about the work done by the Bhagwant Mann government.”
Better facilities and opportunities for the future
Talking about farmers, education and private schools, Manish Sisodia said, “Farmers have benefited from canal water and daytime electricity supply. Children studying in government schools are getting better facilities and opportunities for a better future. The government has also taken steps to stop private schools from charging extra fees from parents.”
“Youth, businessmen and women are also benefiting from the works of the Bhagwant Mann government. Youth are being given employment opportunities and sports facilities, while businessmen are getting an honest government,” he said.
Guarantees related to electricity and water are complete
On the guarantees of the AAP government, Manish Sisodia said, “The Bhagwant Mann government has fulfilled its guarantees related to electricity and water. As a result of each fulfilled guarantee, an average family in Punjab has benefited by ₹1.82 lakh annually.”
He mentioned, “The previous governments pushed Punjab towards financial crisis and allowed the drug problem to spread. These issues will also be highlighted during the door-to-door campaign so that people can understand the difference between the actions of the previous governments and the Bhagwant Mann government.”
Large scale membership campaign in Punjab
Announcing the membership drive, Manish Sisodia said, “Along with door-to-door campaigning, AAP will also launch a large-scale membership campaign across Punjab. Our volunteers will connect with the people and take the government’s work directly to them.
Maan himself will take part in this campaign
Giving information about the schedule of the campaign, AAP Punjab in-charge said, “The door-to-door campaign will start from September 20. Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann himself will participate in the campaign in Dhuri. The election campaign pamphlet will be released by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann on September 19 in Ludhiana.”
AAP Punjab chief Aman Arora said, “Following the thinking of Arvind Kejriwal, the Bhagwant Mann government has benefited the families of entire Punjab. The government has worked to provide jobs to the youth and protect the water of Punjab.”
Congress governments pushed Punjab into trouble
The AAP Punjab chief said, “It is the responsibility of the party and its 2.68 lakh volunteers to take these truths to every household and explain how successive Akali-BJP and Congress governments have pushed Punjab towards financial difficulties.
Aman Arora said, “The Mann government has done its work well and now AAP volunteers will take this work among the people. In 2027, AAP will be re-elected with a bigger mandate than in 2022.”
