The State Election Commission had made special arrangements to keep the vote counting process fair and transparent. The counting of votes was done by the Commission under the supervision of election observers in all the districts. Apart from this, counting personnel and assistants were appointed through the randomization process, so that the possibility of any kind of irregularities or bias could be eliminated.

The Election Commission also made full use of technical facilities. For the convenience of voters and political parties, ward-wise results were uploaded on the official website of the Commission under “Results of Municipal Elections 2026” section. Necessary arrangements were also made for media representatives at the counting centres, so that information about the election results could reach the people quickly.

When was the voting held?
