India’s leading telecom operator Bharti Airtel has introduced a big and attractive gift for its premium postpaid customers just before the festive season. The company has announced that it will be offering its select postpaid plans to the tech giant. Apple is bundling premium cloud and digital entertainment services completely free of charge. Under this new offer, eligible customers can avail the discount at no additional cost. Apple iCloud+ Supplementary subscription is being given.

iPhone and iPad customers across the country often had to pay extra monthly for cloud backup after filling up the basic 5GB of free storage. This move by Airtel will not only save additional expenses on the customers’ pockets, but will also strengthen the company’s Average Revenue Per User (ARPU) and premium subscriber base in the postpaid segment.

Airtel has clarified that this free offer is not for all customers, but is offered only for select postpaid customers:

  • Prepaid users will not get benefits: If you use Airtel prepaid SIM, this offer will not be available for you.

  • Postpaid plans of ₹999 and above: This facility will be available only to those customers who Family postpaid plans priced at ₹999 or more Are using.

  • List of plans: These include postpaid plans of ₹999, ₹1,199, ₹1,399 and ₹1,749.

  • Upgrade Option: If a user is on a low priced base postpaid plan like ₹399, ₹499 or ₹599, he can avail this offer immediately by upgrading to the ₹999 family plan through the Airtel Thanks App or by visiting the nearest Airtel store.

The standalone price of the basic iCloud+ plan with 50GB storage in India is ₹75 per month. Recently, Apple has updated its service architecture and added additional entertainment services to it. In this new bundle of Airtel, customers are getting the benefit of three premium services simultaneously:

  1. 50GB iCloud+ cloud storage: iPhone, iPad, and Mac users can securely sync their photos, 4K videos, documents, passwords, and device backups to the cloud. It also includes privacy features like ‘Hide My Email’ and ‘iCloud Private Relay’.

  2. Apple TV Access: Apple’s popular OTT streaming platform, on which ‘Ted Lasso’, ‘The Morning Show’ and Oscar-winning movies can be watched in HD/4K quality without any ads.

  3. Apple Arcade Gaming Catalog: Complete freedom to play over 200 premium and exclusive mobile games available on Apple Arcade with no in-app purchases and no ads.

Airtel’s ₹999 family plan is one of the most popular plans for small families. The complete package of features available after the addition of the new Apple Benefits is as follows:
