Bharti Airtel has announced a new range of postpaid plans starting at Rs 499, bringing additional benefits including one free international roaming trip every year for each SIM. The new plans will be available from October 8, 2026.
Under the new international roaming benefit, customers will get 5GB of data, 60 minutes of calls, 25 outgoing SMS and free incoming SMS, with the benefit valid for five days. Customers can activate the roaming pack when they choose, allowing them to use it during their overseas trip.
For family postpaid plans, the complimentary roaming benefit will be available for every SIM included in the plan, allowing each family member to avail of one free international roaming trip annually.
Airtel postpaid plans: Prices and benefits
The Rs 499 plan is an individual connection offering unlimited data and calling, spam and fraud protection, Xstream Play Premium and Google One. It also includes one free international roaming trip per year.
The Rs 749 plan covers two connections and includes unlimited data and calling, spam and fraud protection, Amazon Prime, JioHotstar, Xstream Play Premium and Google One. Both SIMs are eligible for one free international roaming trip every year.
The Rs 1,049 plan covers three connections. Along with unlimited data and calling and spam and fraud protection, it offers Apple iCloud+, Apple Music, Amazon Prime, JioHotstar, Xstream Play Premium and Google One. Each SIM gets one free international roaming trip annually.
The Rs 1,249 plan covers four connections and offers unlimited data and calling, spam and fraud protection, along with Apple iCloud+, Apple Music, Amazon Prime, JioHotstar, Xstream Play Premium and Google One. Each connection gets one free international roaming trip per year.
The Rs 1,449 plan also covers four connections but adds Netflix Basic to the subscription bundle. It also includes Apple iCloud+, Apple Music, Amazon Prime, JioHotstar, Xstream Play Premium and Google One.
The Rs 1,799 plan is the top-end option and covers five connections. It includes Netflix Standard, Apple iCloud+, Apple Music, Amazon Prime, JioHotstar, Xstream Play Premium and Google One, along with unlimited data and calling and spam and fraud protection.
Other benefits
Airtel’s new postpaid portfolio also includes Fast Lane technology on 5G, unlimited data and calling, and network-level protection against spam and fraudulent links.
Customers will also have access to the Airtel Postpaid Advantage Club, which offers exclusive experiences such as comedy shows, movie premieres and concerts.
How to get Airtel’s new postpaid plans
The new plans will be available from October 8, 2026. Existing Airtel customers on prepaid or older postpaid plans can upgrade through the Airtel App or by visiting an Airtel store.
Customers using other telecom operators can switch to Airtel Postpaid by raising a request through the Airtel App or visiting a nearby Airtel store.
With the new plans, Airtel is combining postpaid connectivity with international roaming, entertainment subscriptions and security features, giving customers multiple benefits under a single monthly plan.
