Lucknow. Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee President and former minister Ajay Rai has filed a defamation case against Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Ajay Rai alleges that the allegations made by the Chief Minister regarding his eating fish in Ayodhya are false and objectionable. Hurt by this, he filed a defamation claim in the Civil Court of Lucknow on Tuesday.

Ajay Rai says that an attempt was made to damage his public image and reputation by presenting wrong facts against him. Based on this he has approached the court. Congress State President said that making false and factless allegations about a person in public life is a serious matter. Describing the allegations leveled against him as false, he has said that he will answer through the judicial process.

The entire matter is related to the allegations of 'fish feast' allegedly organized for Ajay Rai in Ayodhya. There will be a lot of political rhetoric on this matter in UP for the last few days.
