Ajit Doval Russia Visit International Security Forum: India’s National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval has given a strong and clear message to the world regarding terrorism and global security from Russian soil. ‘First International Security Forum’ held in Moscow While attending the conference, Doval criticized the ‘dual approach’ of global powers in the fight against terrorism. But he hit hard. He said in clear words that now the time has come when the countries of the world will have to choose their side and adopt a firm stand against terrorism.

Double standards on terrorism cannot be tolerated

Addressing the conference, Doval exposed Pakistan on the international stage without taking its name. He stressed that there is no need for a ‘dual approach’ in the fight against terrorism. It won’t work now.

Doval made it clear that the countries which give shelter to terrorists will have to decide which side they stand on, either they support those who practice terrorism, or they cooperate in crushing it together. This statement has come at a time when India is continuously raising the issue of cross-border terrorism on global forums.

security of sea routes

Ajit Doval In his address, he described the security of sea routes as an important issue for the global economy. He specifically mentioned ‘Hormuz’ and ‘Red Sea’ Referring to this, he said that this route is considered the backbone of international trade.

Expressing concern, he said that due to the ongoing conflict in West Asia for the last three months, the Strait of Hormuz is practically closed. Doval said that uninterrupted operation of trade through these routes is essential for keeping the supply chain of the entire world and oil prices stable.

Demand for change in old global institutions

The NSA has worked closely with international institutions, particularly united nations Also raised questions on the outdated structure of (UN). He argued that the institutions created in 1945 after the Second World War are not capable of dealing with today’s modern problems and the challenges of the changing global order.

Doval strongly demanded that these institutions include members of the ‘Global South’ That means the countries of Asia, Africa and Latin America should get more space and effective voice. According to him, unless these institutions are reformed, there will be no effective solution to the threats to international security.
