BJP’s Rekha Gupta government has come under attack from the opposition after 21 people died in a fire in Delhi’s Malviya Nagar area. Meanwhile, Samajwadi Party chief and former CM Akhilesh Yadav has taken on BJP. He termed the BJP government as corrupt.

He further wrote, “Due to the mega-corruption in the BJP government, no work is done anytime, anywhere on the arrangement and expiry of fire fighting equipment, the consequences of which the general public has to suffer by sacrificing their lives.”
The SP chief also wrote, “In Delhi, BJP leaders are sitting everywhere from top to bottom, it remains to be seen who will they blame for this negligence and corruption. Strictest action should be taken against this fatal negligence and compensation should be declared to the families of the victims. The injured should be given the best free treatment.”
Let us tell you that a massive fire broke out in a hotel located in a narrow street of Malviya Nagar area of South Delhi on Wednesday, in which at least 21 people died. These also include foreign nationals whose sick relatives were undergoing treatment in nearby hospitals.
A fire broke out at around 8:30 am in ‘Flourish Stay B&B’ located at Hauz Rani in Malviya Nagar and spread within no time, leaving people stunned. Rescue workers, including several local people, reached the spot to rescue people trapped in the narrow five-storey building.
