Lucknow. Samajwadi Party national president Akhilesh Yadav has made a big attack on the BJP government. He said that, since 2017 till now, incidents of damage to more than 151 statues of Baba Saheb have come to light in 72 districts of the state. A chart has been shared by the Samajwadi Party regarding this, in which how many incidents took place in which district.

Along with this, a letter has been issued on behalf of Akhilesh Yadav, in which it is written that, Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar ji gave us the Constitution. The same Constitution gave equal rights to every poor, backward, Dalit, minority and woman. Baba Saheb's statue is not just a stone or metal statue, but it is a symbol of our respect, rights, constitution and social justice.

But in the BJP government, the statues of Baba Saheb are being continuously targeted by feudal elements. Since 2017 till now, incidents of damage to more than 151 statues of Baba Saheb have come to light in 72 districts of the state. That is, on an average, more than 15 statues were vandalized every year, but in more than 85% of the cases, Uttar Pradesh Police did not take any action against the power-protected feudal anarchists.
Akhilesh Yadav further wrote in the letter that, Samajwadi Party workers are committed to protecting the honor of Baba Saheb. They will go from village to village, meet people and highlight such unfortunate incidents.
