Amazon EV: American company gets patent for electric pickup and SUV in India, what will be the entry?
Special focus on customization
The biggest feature of State Auto is its unique customization model. The company will produce all the vehicles from the factory only in gray colour. After this, customers will be able to give a new look to the vehicle as per their choice. The company will also provide around 54 basic wrap options along with 45 to 50 metallic and special designed wraps. Interestingly, instead of being factory installed, customers can also install them themselves (DIY). If customers wish, they can also take help from experts.
Installation guide will be available through the app
Apart from about 54 basic wrap options, the company will also provide many metallic and premium designs. The special thing is that customers can also install these wraps themselves. If a customer does not want to do this then he can take the help of experts. For this, the company’s official app will also provide a detailed installation guide. At the same time, Slate Auto will also offer a large number of accessories and body modification kits for its vehicles. The company believes that customers will be able to customize the vehicle as per their needs and budget, which will give them better value.
low price biggest weapon
State Auto can have a big impact in the market in terms of price. According to media reports, the starting price of the company’s electric pickup can be around $ 24,950 (about Rs 23.7 lakh). However, the actual price will be revealed only on June 24. To keep costs down, the company is using plastic body panels instead of the traditional steel body.
What are the chances of India launch?
Having a design patent in India indicates that the company is keeping an eye on the Indian market. However, at present its entire focus is on establishing its strong presence in the American market. India is among the fastest growing EV markets in the world. In such a situation, Slate Auto may consider entering India in future. But the launch seems unlikely in the near future.
