AMC organizes client management and safety awareness training for coaches
- More than 164 coaches took training at Veer Savarkar Sports Complex
Ahmedabad, 23 April 2026 – amc Client management and safety awareness training was organized for the coaches. Special training was given to the coaches working in the swimming pool, gymnasium, skating rink and sports complex run by Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation.
For all these, “Client Management, Behavioral and Safety Awareness” training program was organized on 23 April 2026 at Veer Savarkar Sports Complex, MAMCO.
Coaches from which departments participated in the training?
On this occasion, about 164 coaches took training for clients and students in the swimming pool and gymnasium run by Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation. Under this, important issues like swimming foundation, challenges faced in the routine functioning of coaches, swimming logistics, training strategies, behavioral management strategies, communication strategies etc. were discussed.
Giving information about training camp Ahmedabad Municipal CorporationPrincipal of Ahmedabad Gymnasium, Rohit Chaudhary said that a training program was organized by Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation under the topic of Behavior Strength and Condition. In which a workshop was organized by the coach on how to behave with the public.
AMC currently has 38 gyms and 15 swimming pools operational. Apart from this, 5 swimming pools and 10 gymnasiums are run on PPP basis. This workshop has been organized in collaboration with Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation and Swarnim Sports Gujarat University so that all this can be managed efficiently and easily and minimum complaints are registered.
Today, a total of more than 164 coaches have taken advantage of this training program. In which the issue of human safety during swimming was a major issue.
Talking about this training, Bindiya R Goyal, Manager, Recreation, Gymnasium and Swimming Pool Department, said that there are 38 gymnasiums and 15 swimming pools run by AMC in the city.
As many as 97 swimming coaches and 67 gymnasium coaches have taken training in this training program organized by AMC. Under this, an effort has been made to understand how they can improve their day-to-day operations and carry out their operations in a more organized manner.
Coaches have to get involved in public service every day. By giving membership to the citizens, professional training has been given to them on how to behave with those who have annual membership in Mandi. The response to the training conducted here has been amazing, which was imparted by the faculty of Swarnim Gujarat Source University.

Talking about this training, Dr. Ankur Singh Saini, Assistant Professor and Swimming Incharge of Swarnim Gujarat Sports University, said that, we had organized this training program organized by AMC especially focusing on behavior management. Under which we had a professional discussion with the daily clients of AMC Cochis to positively solve the challenges.
They have been given training to further strengthen the services of AMC. In which we were taught how to remain calm and behave professionally in challenging situations.
Step-by-step training will lead to professional growth
I work as a coach in Ranip Gymnasium. In today’s coach training given by Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation, we learned many positive aspects of communication with clients. For this we have been given step-by-step training. Apart from this, we have also been given guidance in this training about what courses we should do for our personal professional growth. Will use the information received in the training on a professional basis
In this professional training taken by AMC, I got more detailed technical information related to swimming. So that in the future, I will be able to guide the children who take swimming training from me very well. Apart from this, in this workshop I have also got information about how to guide the parents of children who sometimes wonder why their child takes so much time to learn swimming.
