American fine-dining steakhouse The Capital Grille will expand into Asia with the opening of its first restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City on Sept. 28.
The restaurant will be located in the Bitexco Financial Tower in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City, giving the brand a prominent presence in one of Southeast Asia’s fastest-growing markets, Darden Restaurants that owns the chain said in a press release.
To span approximately 500 square meters, the restaurant will accomodate 120 seats, a bar, three private dining rooms, a temperature- and humidity-controlled dry aging room, a butcher room and a wine cellar.

The restaurant is renowned for steaks that are dry-aged in-house for 18 to 24 days before being hand-carved by an on-site butcher.
Ho Chi Minh City has seen a vibrant dining landscape joined by various international restaurant and hospitality brands.
The city is home to five one-Michelin-starred restaurants: Anan Saigon, Akuna, Long Trieu, CieL, and Coco Dining.
