Neelam Devi ordered to vacate the bungalow by 25th November
The Real Estate Division of the Building Construction Department has given notice to Neelam Devi to vacate the government bungalow. This bungalow was allotted to her after she was made a member of the State Level Program Implementation Committee. After becoming a member of the committee, he got facilities at the level of Deputy Minister. On this basis, bungalow number one was given on Mall Road, a posh area of Patna.
However, after recent political developments, the Cabinet Secretariat Department issued a notification terminating his membership in the committee with immediate effect. After this the Building Construction Department issued an order to vacate the government residence. According to government rules, after termination of the post, the person concerned has to vacate the residence within one month. Under this rule, Neelam Devi has been instructed to leave the bungalow by 25th November.
Anant Singh and Neelam Devi expelled from JDU for 6 years
Even before the order to vacate the government bungalow, Anant Singh and Neelam Devi have been shown the way out of JDU. The party expelled both of them for 6 years, accusing them of being involved in anti-party activities. Along with this, his primary membership was also terminated.
In this matter, JDU has also sent a recommendation to the Assembly Secretariat to terminate the assembly membership of Anant Singh. However, the final decision on his legislature will be as per the relevant constitutional process and the decision of the Speaker of the Assembly. In such a situation, the challenges facing Anant Singh have increased on both the political and administrative fronts.
Investigation into viral video showing weapons intensified
Anant Singh's problems are not limited to politics only. The video of a public program organized in Semraon village of Gopalganj district had gone viral on social media. In this, some youths are seen openly displaying weapons. It was told that Anant Singh was also present in the program.
After the video surfaced, an FIR was registered at Mirganj police station on the instructions of the Superintendent of Police of Gopalganj. Now the police is preparing to take the help of Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) and ballistic experts to identify the weapons seen in the video and find out their nature.
Through this investigation, an attempt will be made to find out whether the weapons seen in the video are real or not and to what category they belong. Further action can be taken based on the investigation report.
Case registered against 9 people including Anant Singh
A total of 9 people including Anant Singh, singer Gunjan Singh and event organizer Guddu Rai have been named in the case registered at Mirganj police station. Police are investigating the entire video and trying to find out the role of the people involved in it.
According to police officials, display of weapons in a public place can be a violation of the law and creates an atmosphere of fear among the people. If the investigation confirms the use of banned weapons, then strict action can be taken against the accused under the Arms Act. However, the investigation is still awaited and the report is complete.
What did Anant Singh say on the allegations?
Anant Singh has termed the case registered against him as wrong. He says that he had only gone to attend a social program. They have no direct connection with who had reached there with weapons or who was dancing and singing. He also said that if there was any legal restriction on going to that area, then the police administration should have issued instructions earlier.
