Anna Hazare Statement on AAP MPs Resignation: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) There has been a major political earthquake in Gota on Friday. Veteran party leaders and Rajya Sabha MPs Raghav Chadha, Sandeep Pathak and Ashok Mittal held a press conference and officially announced their resignation from the party. Interestingly, along with these three, four other senior MPs have also resigned, which has given Arvind Kejriwal-led ‘AAP’ a big blow. Senior social worker on this matter now Anna Hazare Expressing his first reaction, he has questioned the functioning of the party.

Simultaneous exit of 7 big leaders

While giving information in the press conference, Raghav Chadha clarified that four other MPs are also involved in this campaign along with him. Among those who resigned are the names of legendary cricketers Harbhajan Singh, Rajendra Gupta, Vikramjit Singh Sawhney and Swati Maliwal. As seven Rajya Sabha MPs left the party at the same time, the political circles of the country are in a frenzy and the very existence of the Aam Aadmi Party is now in question.

“The fault lies with the party and the organization”; Anna Hazare’s death

Speaking on this whole political drama, social worker Anna Hazare explained her position. Anna Hazare said, “In a democracy, where to go and where to stay is the right of every person. So it is not right to force anyone. If they faced any problems in the democratic system, then maybe they left the party because of this. There must be some underlying reason behind it. In a democracy, they have full freedom to go wherever they want. It is the fault of the party and the organization. If the party was functioning properly, they would not have left the party.”

Selfishness undermines principles

Anna made a poignant comment on the question that the anti-corruption movement from which this party was born is disintegrating today. “When individual selfishness prevails, people and organizations break down. If the interests of the country and the society were kept in front of the eyes, this situation would not have arisen today. Unfortunately, today people forget the society and the country and run only after power and money. It is because of this desire for power that everything has gone wrong,” he added.

A fight for existence for ‘Aap’

The Aam Aadmi Party is now on the back foot as the strength of the Rajya Sabha has dwindled to a large extent and important faces are on the way to the BJP. Anna Hazare’s statement has once again started a discussion on the party’s moral code. The opposition is alleging that ‘AAP’ is only playing power politics, leaving aside the ethics of the movement.
