New Delhi: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has launched a scathing attack on seven Rajya Sabha MPs of Aam Aadmi Party joining BJP. After returning from the Netherlands tour, Mann took on the BJP and accused the party of tarnishing the image of Punjab.
CM Mann said that BJP is trying to stop the good works in Punjab. He said that BJP neither has any agenda nor any face of its own in Punjab. CM Bhagwant Mann even called BJP a ‘bandekhani’ party.
BJP is betraying Punjabis- Mann
Let us tell you that CM Bhagwant Mann said, “This is an attempt to tarnish the image of Punjab. BJP has betrayed Punjabis. Efforts are being made to stop good work in Punjab. BJP has nothing of its own, there is no face in Punjab. BJP is a ‘bandekhani’ party, these people do not burp after eating.”
Mann targeted Raghav Chaddha
Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann targeted AAP leader Raghav Chadha without naming him. He said, “Now he is suffocating in the party. If the party has given him so much, then respect it. BJP is not a democratic party. They are harassing Mamata Banerjee in Bengal. They only have ED and CBI. I assure you that the people of Punjab are with us.”
Mann further said, “A few days ago, Ravneet Bittu was saying good and bad to Raghav Chadha, now how will they sit together. He is a traitor of Punjab. The people of Punjab will punish him. BJP will not be strengthened by his departure. Even Captain Amarinder Singh had participated in it. Now he is the one who is saying that no one listens to him.”
The party is big, not the leader – Mann
It is noteworthy that Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann further said, “The party is big, not its leaders. No such currency has been made which can buy Bhagwant Mann. It is a bit sad, but it does not matter if one drop of water is reduced in the ocean. Those who are not of Punjab, what will become of BJP. The party has given respect to everyone, but we cannot know what is in someone’s heart.”
