Appointment of Nandita Sinha as CEO of Instamart! Previously played role in ‘this’ big company
India’s leading quick commerce platform Instamart has announced the appointment of Nandita Sinha as Chief Executive Officer (CEO). His appointment will be effective from 3 August 2026 and will replace Amitesh Jha. Nandita Sinha, who has over two decades of experience in the e-commerce and consumer internet sectors, is confident that Instamart’s next phase of growth will have a new direction.

Welcoming Nandita Sinha, Swiggy’s Managing Director and Group CEO Sriharsh Majeti said that she is one of the most successful leaders in the consumer internet space in India. Their qualities of customer-centric approach, vision and effective execution will further strengthen Instamart. He also expressed confidence that he will play an important role in the further expansion of the company.
On this occasion Sriharsh Majeti also praised the contribution of former CEO Amitesh Jha. Instamart has seen significant growth under his leadership and initiatives like Noice have created a distinct identity for the company. He also played a key role in consistently improving contribution margins, building a strong work culture and a high performance team. Commenting on the new responsibility, Nandita Sinha said that Instamart’s customer-centric work has always been inspiring. He said that Instamart has played an important role in changing the way people shop in India and look forward to shaping the company’s next phase of growth together with colleagues, partners and customers.
Nandita Sinha was earlier serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Myntra. Under his leadership, the company strengthened its position as India’s largest fashion e-commerce business. He played a key role in increasing the company’s market share in a competitive market even after achieving EBITDA profitability in 2024. Apart from this, he has also held various leadership roles in leading companies like Flipkart, Britannia and Hindustan Unilever.
