Approval of Rs 1 lakh 14 thousand 365 crore for Ladli Brahmin and Rs 16 thousand 326 crore for Ladli Laxmi Yojana.

 Bhopal. Madhya Pradesh Cabinet on Tuesday approved Rs 1 lakh 14 thousand 365 crore to continue the Ladli Brahmin Scheme from 2026-27 to 2030-31. This scheme is running from 2023. At present about 1.27 crore women are included in this scheme. Continuation of Rs 2 thousand 137.65 crore for Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana was also approved.

The Cabinet has also approved Rs 16 thousand 326.47 crore to continue the Ladli Laxmi Yojana from the year 2026-27 to 2030-31. So far, about 50.99 lakh girls have been benefited under Ladli Lakshmi Yojana. The cabinet has also taken a decision for AI. For this, the Project Management Unit will do scientific evaluation. Under this, the project management unit to be formed for technical efficiency will act as a tech-engine and innovation centre.

The unit will also conduct scientific assessment of river health using modern systems such as Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics, GIS, Remote Sensing, Decision Support Systems and Climate Change Modelling.

The cabinet chaired by Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav approved the formation of Nirmal and Aviral Maa Narmada Mission (Naman Mission) for the conservation, revitalization and long-term management of the Narmada River. About 33 percent of the population of Madhya Pradesh is directly or indirectly dependent on the Narmada River and its catchment area.

Keeping this in mind, this Mission has been developed as an integrated, scientific and multi-departmental institutional arrangement. A strong financial framework has been created for the smooth functioning of the Mission and execution of the projects. For Narmada conservation and development works, Rs 100 crore will be given every year from the state grant under the Nirmal and Aviral Narmada Mission Fund.

Additionally, Rs 100 crore will be utilized annually from the Forest Department’s CAMPA fund. In exceptional circumstances, an amount of Rs 100 crore will be made available from the state budget in 5 years for works other than the prevalent schemes. Public support will also be mobilized in the mission through CSR funds, central assistance and PPP model.
