Awarapan 2 Box Office Collection: Emraan Hashmi’s much awaited film ‘Awarapan 2’ is performing brilliantly at the box office since its release in theaters on August 14. The film made strong earnings in the opening weekend and maintained its hold in the Monday test also. The film earned well on Tuesday also, however, there was a decline in its collection on Wednesday.
Awarapan 2 Box Office Collection: How much did Awarapan 2 earn in 6 days?
There was a huge jump in the earnings of ‘Awarapan 2’ in the first weekend.
According to Sacknilk, ‘Awarapan 2’ made an India net collection of Rs 22 crore on the first day of its release i.e. Friday. After this, on Saturday, there was a jump of about 55 percent in the film’s earnings and it collected Rs 33.75 crore. The film benefited from the Independence Day holiday and increased shows. While the film had 9,033 shows on Friday, the number increased to 10,496 on Saturday. On Sunday, the film earned Rs 26 crore. In this way, the India net collection of the film reached Rs 81.75 crore in the first three days itself.
The grip remained even on Monday-Tuesday
It was certain that the film’s earnings would decline on Monday after the weekend, but despite this, ‘Awarapan 2’ maintained a good hold at the box office. On the fourth day, the film earned Rs 9.25 crore. Whereas, on the fifth day i.e. Tuesday, the film’s earnings increased slightly and it collected Rs 9.75 crore. There was also an increase in the number of film shows on Tuesday.
Earnings fell 16 percent on the sixth day
On Wednesday, the sixth day of its release, there was a decline of about 16 percent in the earnings of ‘Awarapan 2’. The film earned Rs 6.75 crore on Wednesday. With this, the total India net collection of the film has reached Rs 107.50 crore. The India gross collection of the film has reached Rs 128.29 crore and the worldwide gross collection has reached Rs 153.59 crore.
