Bhagwant Mann welcomed both the sports personalities in AAP, said – youth will get a new message of inspiration.

Chandigarh: Impressed by the public welfare policies of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and the development work of the Punjab government, Indian cricketer Manpreet Singh Gony and international gold medalist athlete Kunar joined the Aam Aadmi Party on Wednesday. Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann welcomed both the players into the party. The Chief Minister honored Goni and Kunar with Siropa and formally gave them party membership. During this period, Punjab Government Minister Gurmeet Khudian was also present.

Will help in connecting youth with sports

On this occasion, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann said that today two new and important members have joined the Aam Aadmi Party family. He said that the support of these youth, who have brought glory to Punjab in the sports field, will further strengthen the campaign of making 'Rangla Punjab'. The Chief Minister said that the experience of Goni and Kunar can play an important role in motivating the youth of the state towards sports.

After joining the Aam Aadmi Party, Manpreet Singh Goni and Kunar said that they are impressed by the policies of the Punjab government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and the work being done for the development of the state. Both the players expressed confidence that they will work with full honesty and responsibility for the betterment of Punjab along with strengthening the party.
