Big difference in weight and riding
Both the bikes are completely different in terms of design. The Tuno 457 looks like a compact, muscular and aggressive streetfighter. Her curve weight is 175 kg. In comparison, Continental GT 650 weighs 214 kg. That means the Tuno is almost 39 kg lighter. So handling the bike through city traffic makes the Aprilia feel relatively easy.
While the Continental GT 650 gets a forward-leaning cafe racer posture, the Tuno 457 has a relatively upright and comfortable riding posture. The Tuno gets a 41mm USD fork, monoshock and preload adjustment. Its light weight comes with 17-inch wheels and wide tires that make it more nimble in turns.
Tuno leads in features
In terms of features, the Aprilia Tuno 457 clearly leads the way. It gets a 5-inch full-color TFT display, Bluetooth connectivity, navigation, call and SMS alerts, riding modes, traction control and ride-by-wire. Apart from this, the dual-channel ABS also has the facility to switch the rear ABS. The Continental GT 650 gets a retro design befitting an analog instrument cluster and a relatively simple electronics setup.

Who is heavy in the engine?
The Tuno 457 is powered by a 457cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine. This engine produces 47.6PS of power and 43.5Nm of torque. The Continental GT 650 is powered by a 648cc air/oil-cooled parallel-twin engine that produces 47.4PS of power and 52.3Nm of torque. This means that although the power is almost the same, the torque of the GT 650 is higher. So if you want a powerful pulling experience at low RPM then the Royal Enfield is attractive.
Which bike to buy??
If you like modern streetfighter looks, light weight, sporty handling, more electronics and aggressive riding, then the Aprilia Tuno 457 Special Edition could be the perfect fit. But if you want a retro design, powerful torque, cafe racer feel and relatively easy ownership, the Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 is a better choice. In short, the Tuno 457 leans towards speed and technology, while the GT 650 offers a classic feel of style and torque.
