For the first time, a full-time Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is being appointed for the Ram Mandir Trust of Ayodhya. This post is very important for Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust after the new controversies. 5200 people had applied for this post, out of which 18 were selected for interview.
The interview of these candidates took place in Ayodhya on Tuesday. Before the interview they had to fill a Google form consisting of 34 questions. In this, questions related to his work experience, family and Hindu religion were asked. The questions were detailed.

What were asked to the people in the race for the post of CEO?
- Do you keep the crest?
- Do you wear sacred thread?
- Do you eat non-veg?
- Are you a pure vegetarian?
- Do you drink alcohol or not?
- Are you a staunch Hindu?
- Are you comfortable wearing clothes according to Hindu religion?
- Do you have faith in Lord Ram?
According to a report in Hindustan Times, the candidates were also asked about their crowd management experience. Each interview lasted between one and two hours. In this, questions related to administrative skills as well as devotion, nature and outlook regarding the future of the temple were asked. Online interviews of some candidates had already taken place.

Who have been interviewed?
On Tuesday, face-to-face interviews took place with only 8 people, including 4 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers. The appointment to the post is being made because allegations of embezzlement in donation amount have come to light. Many people have been arrested and some officials have resigned.
What will change with the appointment of CEO?
The CEO will be the senior most executive officer of the Trust. His responsibility will be to handle the administration, money, security and management of crores of devotees of the temple. The Ram Mandir pilgrimage area was looking for an arrangement for a long time. After the new controversy, the pressure on the trust management increased further.
Who are the officers included in the selection committee?
The selection committee includes former Supreme Court judge Justice Pramod Kohli, Lieutenant General Vishnukant Chaturvedi (retd) and Suresh Haware. The committee will submit three names to the trust. The Trust will then take the final decision.

Which names are being discussed?
The names of the candidates have not been made public yet. Names like former IPS officer Rajesh Pandey and former IAS officer Yogeshwar Mishra are in discussion. The role of Central Government and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh is also being told in the final selection.
