Arjun Das, popular Tamil actor, has finally broken his silence on the reports of him being cast in Don 3.
The high-anticipated project has been in the news for quite a while especially due to the alleged feud between Ranveer Singh and director Farhan Akhtar.
Following the feud, there were also rumours that Tamil actor Arjun was also approached by the Farhan to play the villain, replacing Vikrant Massey.
Das has finally disclosed that he the director asked him to portray the pivotal role but that didn’t happen.
He confirmed to News18“I was very, very fortunate to have received a call from Farhan sir. We did meet, humne discuss bhi kiya tha, but unfortunately, that isn’t happening now.”
Arjun, while praising the Dil Chahta Hai director, stated that it was supposed to happen but now it is not happening.
“But I am hoping, and I hope I get to work with Farhan sir soon. I think he is one of the sweetest and most humble people I have met.”
“So, yes, I don’t want to lie about it. It was supposed to happen, but now it’s not happening”, he said.
The 35-year-old has worked in many Tamil and Telugu films including Kaithi, Con City, Vikram and Butta Bomma.
