New Delhi. The Election Commission has adopted a strict stance against misleading content being spread on social media during the assembly elections and by-elections of five states. The Commission has directed that platforms should take action within three hours on any fake or artificial intelligence generated content.
The Commission has directed political parties and candidates to clearly identify AI generated or altered content. Social media activities are being monitored in Assam, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and West Bengal.
