Peter Magyar has said that if Netanyahu comes to Hungary he will arrest him. Let us tell you that the Tisza Party led by Peter Magyar has won the recent general elections in Hungary. With this, Victor Orban, who has been holding the post of Prime Minister of Hungary for almost 16 years, has been defeated. Peter Magyar may soon take over as Prime Minister of Hungary.
What threat did Magyar give to Netanyahu?
Hungary’s next Prime Minister Peter Magyar says that if Benjamin Netanyahu comes to Hungary he will arrest him. Peter Magyar said- “I have made it clear that Hungary will remain a member of the International Criminal Court (ICC). If a person enters the border of an ICC member country and an arrest warrant is issued against him, he should be detained.” Let us tell you that the International Criminal Court (ICC) had issued an arrest warrant against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Galant in the year 2024. They have been accused of war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.
Hungarian election results
Voting for the general elections was held in Hungary on 12 April. In this election, Peter Magyar’s Tisza party won 138 seats in the 199-seat parliament. At the same time, the party of outgoing Prime Minister Viktor Orban got 55 seats. Let us tell you that Victor Orban’s party remained in power in Hungary for 16 years.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi had also congratulated Peter Magyar on his victory in the Hungarian elections.
