Flood of faith in Char Dham Yatra, more than 2.38 lakh devotees visited

Dehradun. This year a huge surge of faith is being seen in the Char Dham Yatra. A total of 2,38,590 pilgrims have visited so far. Maximum of more than 1.24 lakh devotees have reached Kedarnath Dham.

At the same time, the number of devotees is increasing rapidly in Badrinath Dham, Yamunotri Dham and Gangotri Dham. The administration has made elaborate arrangements to keep the yatra safe and orderly.

According to the State Emergency Operation Centre, a total of 2,38,590 devotees visited Badrinath Dham, Kedarnath Dham, Yamunotri Dham and Gangotri Dham till 7 pm on Saturday evening under the Char Dham Yatra. On Saturday, 55,998 devotees reached the Chardham shrines.

37,884 pilgrims visited Badrinath Dham between April 23 and April 25, while 13,107 devotees visited on Saturday. Within four days from April 22, 1,24,782 devotees reached Kedarnath Dham, which is the highest among the four Dhams.

31,160 devotees visited here on Saturday. A total of 75,924 devotees visited Yamunotri and Gangotri Dham from April 19 to April 25. These include 38,206 devotees in Yamunotri and 37,718 in Gangotri. According to the administration, constant monitoring and necessary arrangements are being ensured to make the journey organized and safe.
