Bihar Police Constable Recruitment: Central Selection Board (CSBC) has released the final result and merit list of recruitment of 19,838 constable (soldier) posts in Bihar Police today. Candidates can download its PDF from the official website csbc.bihar.gov.in. Let us tell you that after the written examination, about 99,690 candidates were shortlisted for PET. 79,932 candidates appeared in PET. 50,650+ candidates proceeded unsuccessfully in the race and other stages. Final selection was done on the basis of document verification and merit. A total of 45,611 candidates were found qualified in the final stage.

Category-wise final cut-off (Male/Female)
About 7,603 candidates were selected from the general category. In other categories, 1983 people have been selected from EWS, 3174 from SC, 199 from ST, 3571 from EBC. Understand it this way:
General: Male 76, Female 72
EWS: Male 66, Female 64
SC: Male 66, Female 54
ST: Male 66, Female 64
EBC: Male 68, Female 62
BC: Male 72, Female 68
BC : Female 64
Home Guard: 42 (for both)
When will joining start?
It is noteworthy that, selected candidates are instructed to check their allotted district or battalion in the result PDF. Appointment and joining of candidates will start from 20th June 2026 and will continue till 19th July 2026. Medical test and character certificate of all the candidates will be compulsorily checked before handing over the final joining letter.
