Cheating on June 1st too? CBSE re-evaluation portal stalled

CBSE Portal: The process of CBSE Class 12th re-evaluation and marks verification has not started yet. Earlier this process was to start from 29th May but later the date was changed to 1st June but even today the portal seems to be stalled. Students are trying to open the re-evaluation portal, but it is not opening. Currently, the message ‘Under Maintenance’ is visible on the official CBSE page and it is written that this facility will be made available soon.

What allegations were made against CBSE regarding the copy re-evaluation process?
Students told that CBSE’s AWS cloud storage bucket is not safe, data can be accessed without authentication. This was first revealed from the answer sheet of student Vedant. CBSE was accused of giving wrong answer sheet to Vedanta. Then suddenly more than 4 lakh students applied for the scanned copy of their answer sheets. When irregularities were noticed in the answer sheets of many, CBSE and the government had to take strict action on this.

How many students want to get re-evaluation done?
Let us tell you that more than 4 lakh students want to apply for re-evaluation for 12th. Once the process starts, students’ copies will be re-checked. So, questions are being raised on the on-screen marking system of CBSE in Lucknow High Court. It is alleged that the hastily implemented system put the results of lakhs of students in doubt.

Students who have any objection regarding checking, marking and totaling of their answer sheets will now be able to apply. Those who have received the scanned copy of their answer sheet can apply for the answer sheet re-evaluation process.

CBSE made a big change by giving relief in fees
Following complaints from students and parents, CBSE has also changed the fees for post-result services.

For marks verification, students will have to pay a fee of Rs 100. But if any student wants to get his answers checked then he will have to pay a fee of Rs 25 per question.
If even one number increases then the board will refund the entire fee for this process.
Marks may also reduce after copy re-checking. If the student deserves more marks then they will be increased.
If the student’s marks decrease due to correcting any mistake, the marks will be reduced accordingly.
