Special camp of IEPFA and SEBI, share and dividend matters will be resolved
New Delhi. Investor Education and Protection Fund Authority (IEPFA) and Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) will organize a one-day ‘Investor Camp’ on June 5 from 10 am to 4 pm in Bhopal.
The Corporate Affairs Ministry said in a statement on Wednesday that the objective of IEPFA is to empower investors through this ‘camp’ and simplify the process of redressal of their grievances and unclaimed dividend.
This camp will act as a platform providing all facilities at one place to assist investors in resolving issues related to unclaimed dividends and shares. Also, it will enable direct access to investor services and grievance redressal mechanisms at the grassroots level.
The Ministry said that IEPFA through the Investor Camp aims to provide direct assistance for recovery of unclaimed dividends and shares pending for six to seven years, on-the-spot KYC updates and enrollment related services and to provide immediate assistance and resolution to issues related to pending IEPFA claims.
This program will be organized at Vrindavan Garden, Hoshangabad Road (NH-12), Aryan Wings Colony, Sri Rameshwaram, Bagmugalia, Misrod, Bhopal. Interested applicants can register for the camp at www.iepf.gov.in through the link given below.
The Ministry of Corporate Affairs said that this initiative of the Investor Education and Protection Fund Authority reiterates IEPFA’s commitment towards building a safe, accessible and investor-centric financial eco system across the country.
IEPFA is dedicated to promoting investor education, awareness and protection through ongoing financial literacy initiatives and nationwide collaborative outreach programs.
