On Thursday, SP National President and former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav said that BJP’s development claim has gone underground after seeing the pitiful condition of the elderly, women and children yearning for water in Chitrakoot. People are saying give us water today, what will we do with the dream of developed India by 2047.
Akhilesh Yadav said that as long as the mega-corrupt rule of BJP continues, the tanks of ‘Jal Jeevan Mission’ will keep falling and the slogan of ‘Har Ghar Jal’ will be found written on the walls. Now again if someone takes an ‘independent’ hostage then BJP people will say, this was not done right. If BJP goes, there will be water. Every thirsty person says today, they don’t want BJP. Akhilesh Yadav said that the anti-development BJP government has proved unsuccessful in every field. Only the budget has been looted in the BJP government. All the money gets divided into commission charges of BJP people.
That is why at some places water tanks are collapsing, at some places bridges are collapsing and roads are breaking down. Corruption is at its peak in the BJP government. BJP has cheated the public even in the name of cleaning rivers. All the promises of BJP are false. The rivers are dry. There is dirt in them. The water from the drains of the cities is going into the rivers. The budget meant for cleaning rivers was looted under the BJP government. BJP could not even clean Mother Ganga. Yamuna river is in bad condition.
Gomti River Front in Lucknow is an example for cleaning rivers and making the river clean in the city. The Samajwadi government had done historic work for cleaning the rivers. A world class riverfront was built on the Gomti River. This is the way to keep rivers clean. But the BJP government ruined everything. BJP government is the enemy of development.
