NEET Re-Exam: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has rejected the rumors being spread on social media and messaging platforms that the question papers of NEET (UG) 2026 re-exam have been “leaked” or “sold”. NTA has described these claims as false, fraudulent and being spread with the aim of misleading. NTA has also posted regarding this from its official X handle.
Organized copying gangs are spreading rumors
“Spreading such rumors is the work of organized cheating gangs who take advantage of the concerns of students and their families,” NTA posted. Their aim is to extort money by selling fake question papers. All such claims are fabricated.”
The fairness of the examination process remains intact.
NTA wants to clarify some things to the students and their parents:
The fairness of the examination process is completely intact. All possible security measures have been taken to ensure a fair and safe examination for all candidates.
NTA is proactively identifying objectionable channels, accounts and content and reporting the same to the respective platforms and cyber crime authorities so that they can be immediately removed and action taken.
NTA is also filing a formal complaint with law enforcement and cyber crime authorities. Creating, circulating or forwarding such fraudulent content and attempting to cheat students is a seriously punishable offense and strict action will be taken against those responsible.
Students and parents are advised not to engage with, pay for, or forward any such messages. Don’t fall prey to these fraudulent requests.
NEET UG Re-exam to be held on 21st June
It is noteworthy that NEET UG Re-exam is being conducted on June 21 as the previous exam was canceled by the government after alleged rigging and paper leaks came to light. Earlier the NEET exam was held on 3 May.
