Trial landing and carcade rehearsal will be held in Betul before the proposed visit of the President.
Betul. President Draupadi Murmu is coming on a five-day visit to Madhya Pradesh on June 18. As part of the preparations for his proposed Betul tour programme, a trial landing and carcade rehearsal will be organized on Wednesday, June 17.
To maintain the security and traffic system smoothly, special traffic arrangements have been made by the district administration and police. During this period, many routes will be completely sanitized and there will be a temporary ban on the entry of heavy and medium vehicles in the city limits.
Traffic police informed on Tuesday that the trial landing will take place at 10:50 am. After this, the rehearsal carcade will leave from Helipad Milanpur for the venue at 11 am and will reach Lal Bahadur Shastri Stadium at 11:18 am. After the rehearsal, the carcade will leave the venue at 12:25 pm and reach the helipad again at 12:43 pm.
During the rehearsal, the route from Helipad Milanpur (National Highway-47) to Lal Bahadur Shastri Stadium via Bharat Bharti, Sonaghati Forest Barrier, Chakkar Road, Police Station Kotwali Chowk, Ganesh Mandir, College Chowk, Police Control Room Chowk, Police Petrol Pump will be completely evacuated due to security reasons.
Traffic police said that on June 17, there will be a ban on entry of heavy and medium vehicles, tractor-trolleys and other big vehicles in Betul city limits from 07 am to 12:43 pm. Alternative routes have been determined for the convenience of college students and other passengers.
Police station Betul has appealed to the general public not to use the restricted routes during the rehearsal and use the prescribed alternative routes to reach their destination. Also cooperate with the administration and police by following traffic rules, so that security and traffic system can be operated smoothly.
Collector Dr. Sonawane inspected the preparations
On Tuesday, Collector Dr. Saurabh Sanjay Sonawane inspected the preparations for the “Empowerment of Tribal Society through Spiritual Awakening” program to be organized in Betul on June 18 under the chief hospitality of President Draupadi Murmu by reaching Lal Bahadur Shastri Stadium.
During the inspection, he observed the minute to minute program, national anthem, arrival of the chief guest at the national anthem venue, green room, stage arrangements, security management and other necessary arrangements. During this, Collector Dr. Sonawane instructed all the concerned officers to complete all the arrangements as per the protocol within the stipulated time limit.
In view of the President’s proposed visit to Betul, comprehensive security, traffic and parking arrangements have been ensured by the district administration and police department. According to the information released by Betul Police Station, special routes, parking places and alternative routes have been determined to maintain smooth traffic during the program, for the convenience of the general public and to follow safety standards.
The District Administration and Police Department have appealed to the general public to follow the prescribed traffic and parking arrangements, use alternative routes during the journey and cooperate with the administration in security and traffic management, so that the system remains smooth and safe during the program.
