New Delhi . Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Thursday that participation in the world now depends not on trade but on trust. Reliable supply chain is playing a big role in this. In such a situation, India is now emerging as a reliable ally in the world.
Prime Minister Modi addressed the Indian community in Paris today. At the community event, he said that in the G7 summit he has emphasized on partnership based on trust. Also advocating for the developing countries and the Global South, he has said that they should be given equal participation.
The Prime Minister said that India’s message at the G7 summit was clear that global governance will be effective only when it takes everyone along. Global development will be sustainable only if everyone benefits from it. And technology will truly benefit humanity only when it is trusted.
Placing the changing environment in India before the Indian community, the Prime Minister said that today a complete ecosystem is being formed in the country. India is investing in every sector simultaneously, which will decide the direction of the coming decades. India’s story is not limited to economic progress but also reflects a social transformation. In the last 12 years, 25 crore people of the country have come out of poverty.
He said that the present period is to take India’s aspirations to new heights. In the last 12 years, India’s gross domestic product has doubled, the number of airports has doubled, the number of universities has doubled, the pace of highway construction has tripled and the metro network has increased four times.
He said, “Today, India is not only digitizing people’s identities, but has also created ‘Unique Digital Health IDs’ for nearly 90 crore citizens. As a result, medical records are now secure and easily accessible, making healthcare service delivery more efficient and convenient. Surprisingly, most of these achievements seemed unimaginable just a few years ago. Who could have imagined that high-speed internet would reach even the most remote villages?”
Referring to the friendship between India and France in his speech, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that football is a bond connecting the two countries. France team has a lot of fans in India in the World Cup and they wish the France team all the best.
