Vaibhav Suryavanshi created history, became India’s young international cricketer
Creating a new history in Indian cricket, young batsman Vaibhav Suryavanshi has made his debut in international cricket. At the age of just 15 years and 99 days, he has made a big record in his name by playing his first international match for India.
With this achievement, Vaibhav has broken the long-held record of great batsman Sachin Tendulkar. Sachin made his international debut against Pakistan in 1989 at the age of 16 years and 205 days, but now this record has been registered in the name of Vaibhav Suryavanshi.
Got a chance against England
In the second T20 match against England, the Indian team took a big decision by dropping Sanju Samson from the playing eleven and gave a debut opportunity to Vaibhav Suryavanshi in his place. Samson was struggling with poor form in the last few matches and scored only 6 runs in his last three T20 innings.
Got debut after a long wait
During India’s UK tour, Vaibhav did not get a chance in the first two T20 matches and the first match against England. However, amidst continuous discussion and expectations, he finally got the opportunity to debut in international cricket on 4 July 2025. With this debut, Vaibhav Suryavanshi not only created a new record in Indian cricket, but has also established himself as a big player for the times to come.
