Chief Minister will gift projects worth Rs 1283 crore to Gorakhpur and Kushinagar

Gorakhpur. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who visited Gorakhpur on Friday, will give a gift of Rs 1283 crore to Gorakhpur and Kushinagar districts on Saturday, July 11. He will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of 464 development projects worth Rs 525 crore in Kushinagar and 24 development projects worth about Rs 758 crore in Gorakhpur.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will visit Kushinagar district in the morning after having public darshan at Gorakhnath temple on Saturday morning. He will gift 464 projects worth Rs 525 crore related to roads, education, health, irrigation for three assembly constituencies Ramkola, Hata and Kushinagar in the inauguration and foundation stone laying ceremony of development works organized in Tecuatar. For the inauguration and foundation stone laying ceremony, the Chief Minister will also address the public meeting from the stage built in the Dulhan Jagarnath Kunwari Inter College campus. On this occasion, he will also inspect the development exhibition near the venue.

On Saturday afternoon itself, CM Yogi will dedicate 24 development works worth Rs 758 crore including a four-lane road in Bhathat-Bansthan under Pipraich assembly constituency of Gorakhpur. He will inaugurate 5 roads costing Rs 697 crore 49 thousand including Bhathat-Basansthan four lane road and lay the foundation stone of 19 development works costing Rs 60 crore 63 lakh 96 thousand related to road construction and tourism. All these works of inauguration and foundation stone laying come under the purview of Pipraich assembly constituency.

Among the roads that the Chief Minister will inaugurate, the most important is the Bhathat-Bansthan four-lane road. The widening of this 11.6 km long road into four lane has not only increased the ease of transportation for a large population but it is also benefiting the people going to Ayush University. With four-lane connectivity, the number of people getting treatment through AYUSH methods in the state’s first AYUSH University will increase. The projects laid are focused on roads and tourism development.

Chief Minister will inspect Ayush University

On Saturday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will also inspect the state’s first, Mahayogi Guru Gorakhnath State AYUSH University. He is also likely to inaugurate men’s and women’s hostels in AYUSH University. The men’s hostel has been named in the memory of Brahmalin Mahant Avedyanath, while the women’s hostel has been named Rapti. It is noteworthy that Ayush University is one of the dream projects of CM Yogi. He laid the foundation stone of this university on 28 August 2021 at the hands of the then President Ramnath Kovind and inaugurated it on 1 July 2025 at the hands of President Draupadi Murmu.

Chief Minister will participate in plantation Mahayagya in Gorakhpur

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will participate in the state-wide plantation Mahayagya in Gorakhpur on Sunday, July 12. He will plant saplings under the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ campaign on the banks of the Gorakhpur Link Express and will hold a public meeting and call upon the people of the state to participate responsibly in the plantation Mahayagya. Through this mega campaign, the state government has set a target of planting 35 crore saplings this time. This information has been released by the Information Department.
