SP Satyanarayan planted saplings in Reserve Police Lines

Kaushambi. As part of the massive tree plantation campaign going on in the district, a tree plantation program was organized at the Reserve Police Lines premises on Saturday. In the program, Superintendent of Police Satyanarayan expressed his commitment towards environmental protection and green future by planting saplings. He called upon the police officers and employees present to take a pledge to plant as many trees as possible as well as to conserve them.

The Superintendent of Police said that tree plantation is not just a government campaign, but a collective responsibility to provide a clean environment and a safe future to the coming generations. If every person plants a tree in his life and protects it, then along with maintaining environmental balance, the challenges of climate change can also be combated effectively.

He said that in view of the increasing pollution and decreasing green area in the present times, the need for tree plantation has increased more than ever. In such a situation, the police department is also actively participating in this campaign of environmental protection while fulfilling its social responsibility.

During the program, Additional Superintendent of Police, Area Officer Lines and other officers and employees of the police department also planted saplings of different species in the premises. Everyone pledged to take regular care and protection of the planted plants and reiterated their resolve to play their part in making the district more green and clean.
