Tinsukia (Assam). One person died on the spot in a tragic road accident that took place in Madhuting area of Duliajan in Tinsukia district in the early hours of Sunday. Whereas, the other one was seriously injured. The injured person has been referred to the hospital for immediate treatment.
According to the information, there was a massive head-on collision between a bus named Neelkanth carrying tea workers and a motorcycle in the Patti Line of Madhuting.
The collision was so severe that one of the motorcyclists died on the spot. While the other one was seriously injured.
After the accident, the bus driver left the vehicle and fled from the spot. As soon as information about the incident was received, the police reached the spot and started investigating the matter. The search for the absconding driver continues.
