Apart from this, he also won gold medals in the World Boxing Cup Finals and EUBC Gold Grand Prix. This 22 year old boxer from Bhiwani is expected to perform well in Glasgow also.

In the men’s 90 kg category, Kapil Pokharia will also start his campaign from the round of 16. The IIS-bound heavyweight boxer has consistently put in impressive performances in recent years. She made it to the Indian team for the Commonwealth Games and Asian Games this year after winning a silver medal at the Grand Prix Usti nad Labem and a gold medal at the National Games.
