Congress will take out nationwide candle march-satyagraha tomorrow on NEET and CBSE dispute.

New Delhi. Congress will organize candle march and Satyagraha at the district level across the country on the evening of July 25 to protest against alleged irregularities in NEET and CBSE examinations and police action against students. The party has instructed all state and district Congress units to complete preparations for the program. The candle march will go to the statue of Mahatma Gandhi or Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar and will give a message of solidarity with the students and youth.

The letter issued by Congress General Secretary KC Venugopal said that this Satyagraha is being organized in support of the students affected by the alleged failures of the examination system. The party has also reiterated the demand for immediate resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. According to the instructions, active participation of district and block units, frontal organizations, departments, cells and workers along with State Congress Committees will be ensured.

Congress has stressed on organizing the program in a completely peaceful, disciplined and effective manner. Also, it has been asked to give wide publicity through media and social media, so that the message of support of students and protection of democratic rights can reach across the country.
