Dehradun: Six officers and employees will be awarded Chief Minister’s Meritorious Service Medal for distinguished work.
It has been announced that 14 police officers and employees including IG STF Dr. Nilesh Anand Bharne will be given Chief Minister’s Medal. Of these, eight officers and employees will be given Meritorious Service Medal on the basis of service. Whereas, six officers and employees will be awarded Chief Minister’s Meritorious Service Medal for distinguished work. Among these, LIU Inspector Manoj Manral, who passed away recently, will also be given the Chief Minister’s Meritorious Service Medal posthumously.

154 policemen and officers will also be honored
154 policemen and officers will also be honored on Independence Day. Of these, 25 will be given DGP Commendation Disc Silver (on the basis of service) and 12 will be given DGP Commendation Disc Gold (on the basis of service). Apart from these, DGP Silver Disc will be awarded to 89 police officers and employees for special work. Apart from these, 12 officers and employees have been selected for DGP Commendation Disc Gold for special work. Along with these, 16 officers and employees will be given DGP’s citation.
