Speed ​​wreaks havoc in Nagpur, car crushes old man out for morning walk, dies on the spot

The havoc of speed was seen in Nagpur, Maharashtra on Sunday morning. In the morning, a speeding car hit an elderly man who was out on a morning walk on Japanese Garden Road. In this, the elderly person died on the spot. It is alleged that the old man lost his life due to careless driving and racing between vehicles. The driver of an Innova taxi, one of the three cars coming at a high speed, lost control of the car and hit an elderly man who was out for a morning walk.

The collision was so strong that the old man died instantly and the front part of the car was badly damaged. After the accident, the drivers of the other two cars involved in the race fled from the spot. Three youths were traveling in the car that hit. The deceased has been identified as 70-year-old Kailash Saundhiya. Local people informed the police immediately after the incident. After this, police officers including Nagpur Police Commissioner Vishwas Nagar Patil, Additional CP Vanita Shahu reached the spot. He inspected the spot and also talked to the victim’s family members.

Purnima, daughter-in-law of deceased Kailash Saundhiya, told news agency IANS that some people had called us that an accident had happened here. We immediately ran to the spot. After reaching the spot, we came to know that he had died. The woman said that three people have been taken into custody. They look like drug addicts, because nice people don’t drive like that. Our demand is that the accused should be punished. He also said that the youth in the car had a narrow escape in this incident. Now their eyes will also open in future.
